Purpose Of The PositionThe principal function of the Wealth Business Analyst (WBA) is to provide a business development support role for the Wealth Management Line of Business. This role will directly manage and/or support projects related to Business Development, Sales Enablement, Executive Reporting and other strategic initiatives within Wealth Management and Broadway Wealth Solutions, Inc. teams. The Wealth Business Analyst is a member of the Wealth Management Leadership Committee.
Key Accountabilities
Support the Business Development activities of the Wealth Management Line of Business. To include:
CRM Administrator- WBA is the primary CRM support role for the Wealth Management. The WBA is responsible to assess the user input, data accuracy and reporting output to ensure that the platform is being utilized to its fullest potential for the development of new business.
WBA will assess training needs of the Wealth Management staff as new versions of the CRM platform are released to ensure highest and best use. This will also include the indoctrination of new Wealth Management employees. This will require the WBA to coordinate with the Talent Management team to develop and coordinate the appropriate training curriculum.
WBA will continually assess the CRM platform for areas of improved utilization to achieve improved business development performance.
WBA will represent the Wealth Management as the SME within all working groups of the CRM platform. This will include being the point person to drive development of future functionality within the Bank and collaborate directly with the Customer Information Analyst within the Finance Division to achieve desired results.
WBA will own the CRM reporting output and verify the reporting output is meeting desired results, is accurate and is consistent. This is critical as this data feeds banker scorecards.
WBA will serve as the Project Manager and SME for the WM technology journey for WM at large. Collaborate with stakeholders across the Bank ensuring successful implementation. Coordinate training and resources to reinforce learning and user adoption within WM to include BWSI. WBA will also ensure appropriate memorialization of processes and procedures.
Client Communications- Marketing Liaison – WBA will coordinate Marketing efforts of the Wealth Management with the Broadway MarCom department. This would include the coordination of print media efforts, advertising campaigns, signage, and mail campaigns across Wealth Management teams.
Digital Marketing Champion – WBA will coordinate with MarCom to leverage the CRM platform data and other Bank data systems to develop a reliable, electronic communication channel for the Wealth Management clients and prospects.
Event Coordination - WBA will be the primary liaison for client events involving the Wealth Management. This would include the events specific to the Wealth Management (Spurs, Rodeo, CEO luncheons) as well as Bank wide events. WBA will directly manage the ticket distribution and client logistics for events as appropriate.
Product Communication – WBA will coordinate with MarCom and Product Management on internal and external communications with clients regarding the change, enhancement and/or roll-out of products or services that impact clients.
WBA will serve as the designated BNB employee to assist with the growth, integration and collaboration efforts pertaining to the RIA in the form of administrative, clerical and project related work.
WBA will serve on the CRM Governance Committee for Broadway Bank attending meetings, prioritizing projects, and participating on project teams to included User Acceptance Testing on any application changes, identifying gaps and areas of improvements as well as efforts to ensure consistent use across lines of business.
Support Human Resource Management – Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the Talent Management System (MyGPS) Update Job Descriptions, Organizational Charts and other personnel related items while working closely with Line of Business leaders and HR.
Coordinate Executive Reporting and Internal Communications – Annual Budget – WBA will be the primary coordinator and aggregator of budgetary data. WBA will coordinate with the Head of Wealth Management & CEO, Broadway Wealth Solutions, Inc., and the WM Director of Operations to ensure the Wealth Management Line of Business’s data is accurate and input within the broader bank timelines.
Executive Budget Variance Reporting - WBA will work closely with the Finance team to research budget variances for the Head of Wealth Management & CEO, Broadway Wealth Solutions, Inc.
Line of Business Review - WBA will prepare and maintain the annual Wealth Management Line of Business Review presented annually to the Board.
Directors’ Trust Committee – WBA will gather information from the team leaders, prepare and distribute the Directors’ Trust Committee packets to the directors and other meeting attendees.
Business Development Reporting - Coordinate the monthly distribution of CRM and Business Development for Executives to support strategic initiatives and Team leaders to support their banker coaching and sales enablement activities.
Represent Wealth Management Line of Business in various bank committees as needed.
Promote Process Improvement within the Wealth Management – WBA will coordinate the process improvement activities within the Wealth Management to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness in our processes.
Manage and develop various projects as needed and other duties as assigned.
Work Experience Requirements
10+ years of experience in working with Wealth Management or related environment that included exposure to Relationship Management, Client Service and Executive Administrative Support.
Solid working knowledge of how a Wealth Management Line of Business makes a profit and the key components of success.
Demonstrated ability to lead; mentor; be an independent thinker; develop ideas; solve problems; execute plans that enhance and advance the performance of the Line of Business.
Able to thrive in a project-oriented, fast paced environment with deadlines.
Able to organize; prioritize; and manage multiple projects at the same time.
Strong familiarity with WM/banking concepts/budgets and reporting.
Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and verify detailed information and present said information in an effective manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of clients, COI’s, colleagues, management, and staff. Disposed to a continuous learning environment.
Education Requirements
4-year college degree or greater
Preferred: Master’s degree or professional designation (CFA, CFP, CPA) in related field and/or advanced financial services related schooling
Other Qualifications
Prior supervisory or team leading experience, preferred.
Proficiency with personal computers that includes knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet software and database programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint Access, Adobe Pro, SmartView, Dynamics CRM or equivalent.
