Musi’s father, Pat, broke the news to fans of the showin a Facebookpost.
“Surrounded by her Family, in the comfort of her own home, Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25pm tonight,” his message began. “Thank you for all the prayers and support throughout her battle. At this time, the family would like to have time to process, grief [sic] and make arrangements in peace. We will give an update as soon as we have information to share.”
Musi was a a race car driver who starred on Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings and appeared on multiple spinoffs of the Discovery series. According to Motor Trend, the “no-prep” part refers to the fact thatthe race surface is not prepared ahead of time like it is in most forms of racing.
The TV personality shared her cancer diagnosis in an April 2023 poston Instagram.

“Hey Everyone, I haven’t been able to have much time to post due to an unexpected life change. A few days ago I have been Diagnosed with Triple Negative Stage 4 Breast Cancer that has moved to my lymph nodes to my liver,” she wrote, adding, “I have a rough journey ahead of me. I appreciate everyone’s messages and calls. 💗”

Just two months later, she revealed that she had shaved her head due to“extreme hair loss.”
“Every time I brushed my hair it would just fall out in clumps. I had bald spots and excessive shedding it was just getting to the point where I was ready to take that step,” she wrote. “Well here is the new me….some days are tough to look in the mirror but there are days where I feel stronger than ever.”
According to Deadline, Musi was a longtime street racer who last year became the first female driver to win an event onStreet Outlaws: No Prep Kings,driving a nitrous-boosted 2012 Camaro dubbed The Aftershock. She also won three consecutive races during the 2019 season.
Musi also appeared on Discovery’sStreet OutlawsspinoffsLocals Only, Gone GirlandFastest in America.

Last summer, Musi spoke about her ongoing fight against the disease, telling Drag Illustratedthat she was happy she could still take part in racing.
“I can’t even begin to explain everything I’ve been going through and dealing with this cancer diagnosis – a lot of people had their doubts about me,” shetold the outlet in August. “I’m very thankful and blessed that I can keep doing what I’m doing.”
Street Outlaws has been hit with tragedy in recent years. PEOPLE reported that Street Outlaws: Fastest in America driver Ryan Fellows was killed at the age of 41 after being involved in a car accident in August 2022.
Fellow star Christopher “Kentucky” Ellis was found dead at his home in Oklahoma City in September 2020. He was 39.
