Freshly made coffee. Absolutely perfect egg tarts with raisins inside! I think that's quite unique. And the glaze on top was a joy. The tart was soft and yet not mushy. The chicken floss bread was good too. Their iced coffee with milk was made from a fresh brew and the taste is strong yet balanced. Friendly service as well. This place has a good atmosphere, offering croissants and pastries. Quite good looking cakes too. Available for ordering to go.
This bakery does not deserve a high rating. Was very disappointed. Checked in the hotel and was happy to have a highly rated bakery right downstairs. But it’s not.1. Ordered potato bun and the potato filling’s smell is weird. Something is wrong with it. Another one is the wrap. The most terrible wrap ever. Croissant was ok as expected. Just can’t be sure if the croissant is ready made or in house baked with real butter.2. 8am opened. But no bread. Nothing. And the staff said 9am. If 9am only available to sell the products, don’t mention 8am in the Google.
Been here twice whilst staying at the homestay situated in the same building. I had an issue the second time going in yesterday noon (23/02/22) whereby I overheard the staff running the cashier saying quite loud in mandarin "look I think it's a Malay" and was quite rude to me as well, giving me the stink eye. Yes I may look racially ambiguous, still doesn't excuse their attitude towards non-Chinese patrons. Will not be returning here the next time I'm in Penang. What an absolute waste. 3 stars for the decent pastries & lovely service during my first visit.

Nice atmosphere but there might be no real bakery merchandise in this bakery:)Cheeze and raisins bun was interesting, but the dough was underbaked and liquid in some places. Chocolate bun with milky cream is too lightweight, plain flour enhancer:(
Need to order the cake at least 3 days in advance. We have ordered a fruit chantily(8") 1 week ahead and they offer free delivery. I bought a packet of garlic buns, it so fresh and tasty.
